Stalia hate

One of my main fandoms is Teen Wolf. If you have never seen Teen Wolf, go and start watching it. I love the show so much. So one of my favourite ships on the show, gets so much hate from the fandom, and it really annoys me. My OTP on Teen Wolf is Stalia (Stiles Stilinski and Malia Tate).

I think the main reason that Stalia gets hate, is because most people in the fandom want Stiles to be with Lydia, and not with Malia who is his current girlfriend. Not only does the ship get hate, but the character of Malia gets hate too, and so does the actress that plays her (Shelley Hennig).

It is mainly the Stydia shippers that hate on the Stalia ship, and there seems to be a lot of arguments on the internet over which ship is better. When I first watched Teen Wolf I shipped Stydia, but the second time around, I shipped Stalia, and I stopped shipping Stydia.

Stalia, Malia and Shelley get so much hate, just because the Stydia shippers, ship isn't happening right now. I don't know what will happen in future episodes, but I hope Stalia stay together. And I hope, that all this hate stops. Malia/Shelley doesn't deserve all the hate that she gets just because Stiles isn't with Lydia.

If you are a Stydia shipper reading this I am sorry, but get a life and stop hating on other peoples ships.

I also hate how some other ships get hate from the fandom. I won't go into detail about them, but two examples are Marrish and Scira.

People hate on Marrish, because they say that Deputy Parrish is too old for Lydia. To be honest, age shouldn't matter. In real life it doesn't, and in some cases a young woman, is in a relationship with a man old enough to be her father. Lydia and Parrish aren't a couple but in Season 5A they have been getting closer. So tell me how is it ok for a woman in real life to be with someone who is old enough to be her father, but it is not ok for Lydia and Parrish to be together. Parrish is only a few years older than Lydia, so I don't see what is wrong with it.

People also hate on Scira, because they feel like Kira is trying to replace Allison. Kira isn't trying to replace Allison at all. Kira and Allison are completely different. And it is ok for Scott to love someone else. Yes he will always love Allison, but people shouldn't hate on Scira, and Kira, just because he is with her.
